Instructions
Step #1.
Open jets and water features – Make sure water is circulating through all lines.
Step #2.
Remove the filters – You will not harm your spa by operating it with the filters out.
Step #3.
Pour 1 bottle of Spa Marvel Cleanser into the existing water (3 bottles in a swim spa). Turn pumps on high for at least 1 hour. If the spa is less than 3 months old, or if Spa Marvel Water Treatment has been used in the existing water, drain the spa after 1 hour. Otherwise, leave the Cleanser in the water for at least another 23 hours on the regular filtration cycles. It is okay to leave Spa Marvel Cleanser in the water for more than 23 hours if need be. Do not allow bathers to enter the spa with Cleanser in the water or with the filter(s) not installed. Drain the spa, rinse it out and refill as per manufacturer’s directions. Repeat before every water change.
If you have a brand-new spa we do encourage you to use the Spa Marvel Cleanser to remove the residues from the manufacturing process. However, many new hot tub owners are anxious to get using their spa and would prefer not to start out with the cleansing process. Many new spa owners also often experience extremely high bather loads during the first few weeks of ownership as all of their friends, family and neighbours come to experience their new hot tub. Remember that 4 people in a hot tub are equivalent to 400 people in a pool. This excessive use often dictates the necessity for a water change after only 1-3 weeks of using the spa.
As a new spa owner it may behoove you to start out with some traditional spa treatment products. Then in 1-3 weeks once all of your friends have finished trying out the spa and a water change is required anyway, you can then run the Spa Marvel Cleanser at that time, drain the water and start fresh with Spa Marvel Water Treatment & Conditioner.

Spa Marvel Cleanser is not only for hot tubs — it’s a versatile cleaner for other household systems that build up biofilm and residues.
Jetted bathtubs
For a deep clean: Add 2 capfuls of Spa Marvel Cleanser to the bath water and run the jets for 20 minutes before draining.
For ongoing maintenance: Use 1 capful once a month. Spa Marvel Cleanser can be added to the bath water after bathing, and before draining. Run the jets for a 20 minute cycle before draining.
Dishwashers and washing machines
Add 2 capfuls of Spa Marvel Cleanser and run the machine empty, without any dishes or clothes.
You may notice quieter pumps after cleaning. Any foaming that you experience is from built-up detergent residue being removed; it is not caused by Spa Marvel Cleanser.
Stain removal
A strong concentration of Spa Marvel Cleanser mixed with water can be effective on tough stains in carpet and fabric. Always test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure colour-fastness.
